“We succeeded!” cried the little artist Filip Simonovski Cigleniak through tears of joy, a child on the spectrum with an exceptional talent for painting, who was one of the inspirations for holding the first International Congress on Autism and ADHD and who presented himself with his own exhibition of artistic paintings , and the exhibition was completely sold out.
The congress represents the second phase of the big campaign for people with autism and ADHD, which this year is the focus of the Zegin company as one of the largest socially responsible companies in our country.
With a rich three-day program and a live broadcast of all three days, through the moderating baton of Ana Zafirova, the Macedonian public had the opportunity to hear the presentations of top experts who selflessly shared their knowledge and experiences in front of a large audience in which a large number of experts, associations and parents of children with ASD and ADHD were present, who in turn shared all the challenges they face in everyday life and gave us a closer picture of what it’s like to live on the spectrum.
“Through this big campaign, we want to raise awareness, educate and remind that autism is not a limitation, but a different way of being. We are making a call for compassion, for engaging the world to see the brilliance in what may seem like chaos. Autism is not a puzzle to be solved, but a masterpiece to be appreciated. Let’s keep space for its beauty, respect its challenges and fight for a future where every person from the spectrum will be seen, heard and accepted” they told us from the Dr. Verica Mehandziska Foundation.
From the Zegin Company and the Dr. Verica Mehandziska Foundation, they express their gratitude to all the present lecturers, doctors, specialists, parents and everyone else who were part of this scientific and truly emotional event and unanimously conclude – this campaign will not stop here and now.
