Štip, 06.03.2026 – The company Zegin and the Dr. Verica Mehandžiska Foundation donated 14 hospital beds and 4 instrument tables for the operating room to the Clinical Hospital in Štip, once again investing in higher-quality and improved conditions for both patients and medical staff.

Of the donated beds, 10 were allocated to the Orthopedics Department and 4 to the Neurology Department. The additional instrument tables for the operating room will help strengthen the hospital’s surgical capacity and improve the efficiency of its operating facilities.

This donation aims to enhance the quality of healthcare services available to patients in the Eastern Planning Region by providing modern and functional equipment for key departments that treat a large number of patients.

Representatives of the hospital expressed their gratitude for the support, emphasizing that the new equipment will significantly contribute to greater patient comfort and more efficient treatment.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to support the Clinical Hospital in Štip with equipment that will help doctors provide better care for their patients. We hope that this donation of hospital beds and instrument tables will contribute to improved treatment conditions and greater comfort for all those hospitalized in these departments. Supporting healthcare professionals and strengthening local medical institutions remains one of our key commitments,” emphasized Branka Džajkovska from the Dr. Verica Mehandžiska Foundation.

This donation is another one in a series of donations carried out over the past few months by Zegin and the Dr. Verica Mehandžiska Foundation, aimed at supporting healthcare institutions and improving medical conditions for both patients and healthcare professionals.

In addition to the donation of a hyperbaric chamber to the Department of Physical Medicine at the City General Hospital “8th September”, in the recent period multifunctional tables for hand exercises were also donated to the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as hospital beds and other medical equipment for the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department at the Clinical Hospital in Tetovo.
