History
Zegin DOO is the first private company registered for the sale of medicines in the Republic of North Macedonia.
On the initiative of Mr. Blagoj Mehandziski, the company was founded in 1989.
ZEGIN starts with only one employee. Today, the number of employees is over 1300.
In its 35 years of work, ZEGIN DOO constantly shows excellent results and has continuous development. Today it is one of the most successful companies in the Republic of North Macedonia and covers 60% of the pharmaceutical market. As a result of its successful work, in 2004 ZEGIN DOO implemented the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
The success of the company is due to the good management, the development strategy based on the most modern world achievements in this field, as well as the use of the most modern computer systems and appropriate computer programs that cover all work activities.

Humanity as a branch has been characteristic of the company Zegin since its very beginnings, which continues to grow and develop.
The result of all that is the founding of the Dr. Verica Mehandziska Foundation, which continues with the humanitarian mission of helping where it is most needed, following the steps and vision, kindness and humanity that Dr. Verica Mehandziska herself possessed.
Orthopedics
The ZEGIN Group has been dedicatedly working on another recognizable brand – ZEGIN ORTHOPEDIC – for the past few years. Our goal is to make life easier for patients and be their support throughout life, by providing a wide range of orthopedic aids and supplements of high quality and the most affordable prices on the market.
In our program of orthopedic aids, we have a wide selection of orthoses for the spine, upper and lower limbs, insoles, anti-decubitus and compression programs, high-performance anatomical diapers for incontinence, as well as aluminum wheelchairs, easily assembled and suitable for the transport, at the expense of the Health Insurance Fund of the Republic of North Macedonia (FSSHRMV), with whom we have concluded an agreement.

Online Pharmacy
ZEGIN ONLINE is an online store within the ZEGIN group. It marks its beginning in August 2021. Since then, the number of satisfied customers has been increasing rapidly every month.
The main feature that differentiates it from other web stores is accurate and timely delivery, on the same day, in a term chosen by the customers themselves. Of course, there is also the possibility of scheduling a delivery appointment after a few days, at the customer’s request. Orders are always neatly packed and delivered to the front door of the home. Delivery is made every day, except for public holidays and non-working days.
At the first E-commerce awards 2021, ZEGIN won first place in the “Most popular E-store” category.
