The humanitarian race “Zegin Spektraton” once again united citizens with a single goal.

Yesterday, Aerodrom Municipality pulsed for the third time in the rhythm of humanity and sporting spirit. More than two thousand citizens ran kilometers filled with love and understanding, while the children once again showed that this event is, in the truest sense of the word, a “Race of heroes in all colors,” bravely running in the name of humanity, love, and a world equal for all.

From the third edition of the race “Zegin Spektraton – Race of Heroes in All Colors,” organized by Zegin and the Dr. Verica Mekhandzhiska Foundation, a total of approximately €50,000 will be donated. Of this amount, €18,000 were collected from the registration fees of all participants, while the Dr. Verica Mekhandzhiska Foundation will additionally donate the remaining funds, which this year will support several associations, namely:

The Special Olympics Macedonia – Project for inclusive sports activities for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities.

The Open the Windows Association – Project for supporting parents of children with autism in the process of exercising their rights, ensuring appropriate services, and applying assistive technology tools, alternative and augmentative communication.

The Inkluziva Association – Project: Construction and equipping of a creative center for neurodivergent individuals in Kumanovo.

The organizers proudly stated that Zegin Spektraton is becoming an increasingly popular event and expressed their gratitude to all citizens and companies who are recognizing and supporting this initiative more and more, whose goal is to help individuals on the autism spectrum.

Such events are an indication that social responsibility should be an important segment for all companies and individuals who can significantly contribute to improving the quality of life of those who need it most.
