The humanitarian race “Zegin Spectraton” once again united citizens with one goal

Yesterday, the Municipality of Aerodrom pulsed for the second time in the rhythm of humanity and sportsmanship. The rain did not deter thousands of citizens from coming out and running kilometers full of love and understanding, and the children showed that this event is in the true sense of the word – “A Race of Heroes in All Colors” and bravely ran in the name of humanity, love and a world equal for all.

From the second edition of the race “Zegin Spectraton – Race of Heroes in All Colors”, which is organized by the Zegin company and the Dr. Verica Mehandziska Foundation, a total of 60,000 euros will be donated, of which 18,000 euros were collected from the registration fees of all registered participants, and the Zegin company and the Dr. Verica Mehandziska Foundation additionally donated the remaining funds with which several associations and institutions will be helped this year, as follows:

A Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation TMS M50 Ultimate device will be donated to the PHI Center for Rehabilitation of Verbal Communication Pathology to improve social interaction and communication skills, reduce stereotypical and rigid behavior patterns, reduce sensory hypersensitivity, and improve cognitive flexibility and executive functions.

Funds will be donated to the PHI Clinic for Children’s Diseases for the renovation and completion of the premises for the psychophysiology department intended for the treatment of children with autism.

Funds will be donated to the “Rubico” association from Kocani for a new sensory room. Rubico is a center that offers professional speech therapy, special education, pedagogical and psychological support for children and adults with a special focus on working with children with autism and sensory disorders.

Funds will be donated to the Sina Svetulka Association to support a program for early assessment of autism spectrum disorders. The association works in the field of improving the quality of life of people with autism and their families, raising awareness of the potential through education and direct support of children and adults with autism.

The organizers proudly stated that Zegin Spectraton is becoming an increasingly popular event and express their gratitude to all citizens who increasingly recognize and support this initiative aimed at helping people on the autism spectrum. Such events are an indication that social responsibility should be an important segment of all companies and individuals who can greatly help improve the quality of life of those who need it most.
